New video brings annual Brimhams Active report to life

A new video, produced by local videographers Dot+Diode, brings the annual Brimhams Active report to life.

Since being launched last year, Brimhams Active has gone from strength to strength, despite the challenges faced by ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

In the last year, Brimhams Active had more than 1.4 million visits and now has some 2,500 members - up from around 1,500 last year. There are also now around 1,800 Learn to Swim members, taking part in more than 9,000 swimming lessons collectively each year. You can find out more about what has been achieved in the recent news release.

Natalie McGuire, director of business development at Brimhams Active, said: "We were delighted to work with local content creators, Dot+Diode to bring our annual report to life.

"Our teams have worked hard to deliver health and wellbeing services to the residents of our communities, we have created new opportunities for participation, grown existing programmes - such as Learn to Swim and Active Health - supporting a strong recovery from Covid-19 and we have delivered on our agreement with Harrogate Borough Council to open the new Jack Laugher Leisure and Wellness Centre, which has delivered beyond expectations.

"The first 18 months of our strategy delivery have been a success and seen significant change for the service. Our annual report video acts as a testimony to the hard work and dedication of the teams who have passionately contributed to our key objectives and continue to deliver exceptional customer experiences."
