Head coach - swimming
Job title: Head coach - swimming
Salary: £27,741 to £29,577 (pro rata)
Contractual hours: 28 per week
Basis: Part time
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic head coach to organise, develop and deliver our successful coaching programme and lead on the Aquatics pathway with the Learn to Swim manager enabling swimmers at all levels to reach their full potential.
Minimum swimming qualifications: Level 2 Coaching Award or Swimming Coach Certificate
Ideally Level 3 Coaching Award or Swimming Coach Certificate
Knowledge and experience of dry land training
Have previous experience of coaching at all levels plus previous involvement in competitions. Candidates must hold an RLSS pool lifeguard and first aid qualifications or be willing to work towards and a commitment to ongoing CPD including staff training
As you will have access to children and vulnerable adults you will need a Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, Harrogate Borough Council will issue the application form and pay the required fee.

Hourly rate: Competitive
Hours: Full time, part time and casual / annualised hours available
We are looking for fun and passionate individuals to join one of our exciting teams within North Yorkshire.
No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

NPLQ Lifeguard qualification is desirable but full training could be available for the right candidate.

Swim teacher
Job title: Swim teacher

Hours: Full time, part time and casual / annualised hours available
A swim teacher qualification is preferred, although all applications will be considered with the training opportunity to work towards Level 1 and/or Level 2. Job offers will be dependent on candidates' availability to meet the business requirements and conditional on passing the relevant qualifications (if no qualification) within an agreed timeframe.
You will be required to plan and deliver swimming lessons for a range of abilities following the Swim England ‘Learn to Swim' Framework. You will also be required to continually assess the lessons and record the outcomes using the Learn2 software
Candidates will need a flexible approach to working hours on a casual basis covering sickness and annual leave with the opportunity for contracted hours as they arise.
