Brimhams Active has an exciting new partnership with the Brownlee Foundation.
Inspiring children through sports, the Brownlee Foundation, led by Olympians Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, promotes active, healthy lifestyles and triathlon.
The Brownlee Foundation school events are designed to introduce primary school children to triathlon, swimming, cycling and running.
They are seeking volunteers to join them on 14 June 2024 for a fun day helping children complete their first triathlon at Harrogate Wellness and Leisure Centre.
The events are a great opportunity for employee volunteer days.
The volunteer role:
A one-day opportunity suitable for volunteers of all abilities includes both indoor and outdoor roles.
Roles on the day, typically 8.30am until 3pm, can include assisting registration of participants, fitting bikes and helmets, marshalling around the course or handing out medals at the finish line.
You will be fully briefed on the day and allocated a team leader to work alongside.
All volunteers will be given a t-shirt and a packed lunch and refreshments.
