If you are ever stuck for ideas on how to celebrate your child's birthday, let us help. We offer a range of parties for your child, and their friends, to enjoy. We have a hassle-free booking process and friendly staff to ensure the party runs smoothly on the day. Let us help you arrange a celebration to remember.

Knaresborough Wellbeing Hub and Jennyfield Styan Wellbeing Hub can be hired for children's birthday parties. They are the perfect venue with superb indoor spaces and easy parking.

Parties can be made more exciting with bouncy castles, soft play, football games and toys.

Our wellbeing hubs are available for party hire on Saturdays. We ask that all children attending a party are aged four or above unless they are accompanied by an adult.

Parties book up quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment. Full payment is required on booking. You should also check our cancellations policy.

These are available at the Jack Laugher Leisure and Wellness Centre, Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre, Nidderdale Leisure and Wellness Centre, Knaresborough Pool and Starbeck Baths.

Children must be able to swim 25 metres to use the inflatables. To use the diving boards at the Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre, children must be able to swim at least 50 metres.

Our child admissions policy applies to all under eights.

Soft play parties are held on Saturdays from 12.30pm at Jennyfield Styan Wellbeing Hub and from 2pm at Knaresborough Wellbeing Hub.

They are suitable for babies and children aged up to five years old. Sessions last 90 minutes and are limited to 20 children. Attendees need to be supervised by a parent, guardian or carer.

The cost is £32.50 per hour for the hire of the hall and £28 for soft play equipment. Please note, you'll have to pay in full at the time of booking.

Child admission policy

The following terms and conditions apply to our children's pool parties:

• children aged eight or under must be constantly supervised
• the person supervising must be aged 16 or over
• a maximum of two children can be supervised by a person aged 16 or over
• children aged four or under must wear arm bands or another flotation device
• children aged four or under must be constantly supervised in the water
• children using flotation devices, and their supervisor, must only use the designated shallow end of the pool

Private hire cancellation policy

We take full payment for all parties and private hire of our facilities at the time of booking. Terms and conditions apply to all bookings.

Refunds

You will be refunded 100 per cent of the cost if you cancel more than two months ahead of the booking or 50 per cent of the cost if you cancel more than three weeks but less than two months ahead of the booking.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a refund for bookings cancelled with less than three weeks' notice.

Cancellation by us

If we need to cancel your booking, we will do our best to give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternative date for hire.

If an alternative date doesn't work for you, we will give you a full refund but we will not be liable to make any further compensation payment.

If we need to cancel or terminate your booking on the day because of a safety reason which is not your fault, any refund will be at our discretion.

If you, or someone in your party, are the cause of the cancellation or termination of a booking, no refund will be paid.
